We've had so many people ask us if we would please release our Picnic Ant Pincushion from our book Summer at the Lake in pattern form, so we decided to do just that. She is now available separately from the book as a paper pattern and as a PDF download! Our book, Summer at the Lake, is also still available with the ant and lots of other fun projects included. So, anyway, you can buy the pattern 2 ways or the book to make our sweet picnic ant.
Our giant ants will certainly cause some concern at your next picnic! But not to worry - they are friendly and will only take the leftovers for themselves! Directions for this pattern include full color how-to photos.

Awesome. I am super happy to see this. I had written to you a long time ago when I saw this because my MIL has a huge metal sculpture in their yard that is almost identical to this adorable little guy. I wanted to make this for her sewing room. I know she will love it. Thank you for letting us know.
